Not quite sure why I've chosen to do this as my first blog post, but to me it is something I feel confident talking about! I think I might do my introduction post after this (if you want) I know it seems backwards haha.
So anyway after that ramble, these are my personal favourite drugstore products, so carry on reading to see what I think about them☺️
First, are my two favourite foundations, obviously the Rimmel match perfection foundation is raved about by everyone and their gran. This has been my favourite foundation for a few years now for two reasons 1- as I am very pale I find it hard to get a good match to my skin and the lightest shade 010 light porcelain suits me perfectly. 2- it is such a light weight foundation and barely feels like o have anything on my skin which I really like in a foundation.
Now onto the Bourjois healthy mix, this has been a recent buy in the last month, and I have really been enjoying it as it does what it says on the bottle, it says it gives hydrated and luminous skin, I feel this foundation does this because it gives a very dewy finish and a healthy glow which it also states it does.
Now onto cheek products these two are my abosolute fave! The Bourjois bronzing powder and highlight duo is a perfect powder countour, as it is a pigmented powder but not too over powering and doesn't cake up on your face it was such a good but and is my go to bronzer. The highlight is also just as good as the bronzer super pigmented, I find some highlighters can be very sparkly and false whereas this is a perfect natural glow, as is the bronzer.
The next brand and product is a new discovery. The kiko sun lovers blush. This is a lovely blush shade and also has a highlight running through it, it gives a natural flush to the cheeks without looking too false and I think it would be perfect for all skin types.
Now these two pallets are just amazing! The BarryM natural glow pallets 1&2. Both of the pallets have a range of beautiful colours which will see you from day to night. The shadows are super pigmented and are such a lovely texture I can not describe how much I love these pallets, especially from the price, they are a must have for me.
For my eyes I can never seem to find products that I love that much I want to re-purchase, but not anymore these three products- Bourjois queen attitude volume mascara. Bourjois liner feutre. Bourjois liner stylo. They are just the perfect combination for the eyes. The mascara gives lots of volume as said on the packaging, the liner feuter is honstly one pf the best liquid liner pens I have tried yet I've found it so much easier to get that perfect flick. I use the liner stylo for my upper water line and it stays put all day with no irritation or smudging. Can't rave enough about them.
Last are my all time favourite powder and concealer. Surely I don't need to say much about the stay Matte pressed powder as it is the most raved about powder ever! Onto the Rimmel hide the blemish concealer. I love this concealer as it is very high coverage and does just the job of hiding my blemishes and blends out lovely.
